John Andrew Hendricks, 41, of Statesville, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, due to a sudden heart attack.

John was a big kid at heart. He loved playing video games, building model kits, joking around, and painting Bob Ross-style. He had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone who needed something. He enjoyed grilling, spending time with his family and friends, and playing with his nieces and nephews and Finley.

John is survived by his partner, Jessica Lopez, and her children, Clara and Finley, of Lexington, N.C.; his sister, Lori Keister and husband Chad of Middleburg, Pa.; brothers, Tommy Hendricks Jr. and wife Rebekah of Weaverville, N.C., and Rick Hendricks of Statesville; nieces Alanna and Rachel Keister and Carter Hendricks; and nephews Taylor, Hunter, Parker, and Foster Hendricks.
