Clyde Nelson Reavis, 85, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Clyde was born on September 15, 1938, to the late Jessie Allen Reavis and Buelah Davidson Reavis. He was a graduate of Statesville Senior High School, Class of 1956. Clyde loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and being on the river. He also enjoyed NASCAR. He was retired from Printcrafters, following many years as a pressman.

In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Wayne and Ralph Reavis; grandson, Brandon Curlee; and a great grandson, Kasen Brent Lynch.

Clyde is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Janice Isenhour Reavis, four children, Allen Reavis (Laurie), Tammy Lippard (Tim), Sheila Reavis and Bryan Reavis (Gayenell); nine grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday on April 24 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held afterward at 3 p.m. with Rev. Michael Pharr officiating. Burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.
