Family-friendly wrestling will debut in Statesville on Sunday, April 28, when Figure 4 Collectibles and Swim N Pool and Spas present AML Wrestling’s “Wanted Man.”
Tickets are still available for the highly anticipated event at West Iredell High School, located at 213 Warrior Drive.
Wanted Man will feature the Stars of AML Wrestling with special guests Nic Nemeth fka Dolph Ziegler, AJ Francis fka Top Dolla, and WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson. Also scheduled to appear are “The Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff.
“We’re excited about making our debut in Statesville. The wrestling fans there are in for a real treat,” said Zane Dawson, one-half of the AML Wrestling World Tag Team Champions, The Dawson Brothers. “I’ve been a part of the AML Wrestling locker room since day one, and they always put on a fun, first-class event.”
Meet the Stars begins at 2 p.m. and the first match starts at 4 p.m. The concession stand will be open.
This is the first time AML Wrestling has been to Statesville.
“We were planning a TV taping in there before the pandemic shut us down,” AML Wrestling owner Tracy Myers said. “We’re excited to finally make this happen because the community is full of amazing wrestling fans.
“My team and I have also been impressed with the residents and business owners in Statesville because they are all working together to make sure this event is a success,” he added. “Our goal is to give families an event they can bring their families to, have a great time in the process while raising money for Purple Heart Homes and making memories that last a lifetime.”
