Carolyn Moore Mills, 92, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

She was born on August 7, 1931, in Mooresville to the late Ernest and Margaret Deaton Moore. Mrs. Mills was a member of Rocky Mount Church in Mooresville. She enjoyed being outdoors, working in her yard and vegetable garden, and riding her lawnmower. She loved working jigsaw puzzles, traveling, and mostly being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Mills; and sister, Pat Miller.

She is survived by her sons, Clay Mills and wife Althea and Mike Mills and wife Belinda; brother, Reid Moore; grandsons, Charlie, Bryan and Jeremy Mills; great grandchildren, Leila and Nicolas Mills, Joey and Judy; and seven great great grandchildren.

A service will be held at a later date.
