Sheetz held the grand opening for its new store at 195 Old Mocksville Road in Statesville on Thursday. The new location is their fourth location in Statesville and 121st store in North Carolina.
President & CEO Travis Sheetz was on hand to welcome the community. He shared his company’s dedication to community relations and vowed to help by giving to Special Olympics of Iredell County and Second Harvest Food Bank.
Each nonprofit was presented with a $2,500 check.
“We know you’ll come back because of our culture and our people,” he said. “But mostly our people.”
