Mrs. Margaret Louise Knox Jackson, 74, of Statesville, N.C., was born in Alexandria, Va., on October 27, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Essie Alice Knox. She departed this life on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House following an extended illness.
She enjoyed many hobbies, including traveling to Atlantic City, spending time with friends and family, eating seafood, and enjoyed having a good time and bringing joy to others. She loved to sew and do seamstress work. She also made custom garments for others and enjoyed watching movies and her favorite TV series. She also liked going to beauty supply store and listening to the rain.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life her daughters, Shanneil Garner (Rodney) of Statesville, N.C., and Tempest McCombs (Steve) of Mooresville, N.C.; her brother, William Edward Knox (Darlene) of Hinesville, Ga.; her sister, Kay Elizabeth Gregory of Troutman; her grandchildren, Glenn Rice II (Tiandra) of Chapel Hill, N.C., Shanaya Rice and Shanee Wasson, both of Statesville, N.C., Nateo (Nakita) Knox of Pineville, N.C., Tequilis (Sarah) Knox of Charlotte, N.C., and Kantrell Knox of Statesville, N.C.; great grandchildren, Glenn Rice III, Greyson Rice, Nicolas Knox, Naydia Knox, Nyla Knox, Madeline Knox, Philomena Knox and Seraphim Knox; sister-in-law, Darlene Knox; god daughters, Karen Newson and Latisha Agnew; close friends, Janice Pierce of Philadelphia, Pa., and Marilyn Pudding McClelland of Statesville, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
