Marie: So sorry to read a out JR’s passing, I am out of town & will be unable to attend the service but will have you in my prayers during these hard times. Clarence Poole
I have known JR all my life. I grew up in Union Grove. I remember him giving me candy and the best hugs. I was surprised when I found out about him being pastor at Community Baptist Church. He still had great hugs, but enough about that. He had a strong Christian life and you could tell it when he preached. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
I first met JR at Calvary Baptist Church in Union Grove. All of the Myers and Allen families loved him and your family. He always lit up the room and preached the truth. He has touched the life of so many. I will always remember his big smile and kindness. I will be praying for you, Marie.
Marie, I am saddened by the passing of this wonderful man. I have fond memories of you and J.R. and the times celebrating Veterans Day. May God give you peace knowing J.R. Is home and in the arms of our Father. My love to you and prayers lifted for God’s comfort. ❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️
