He was born on December 1, 1937, in Decatur County, Ga., to the late Franklin and Lucille Griffin Blocker. Will was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Marines and later became a Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Agent, retiring at the young age of 50. Will was a devoted Atlanta Braves fan and never missed a game. His family and friends will forever remember him for his infectious laugh, diligence, stories and jokes.
In addition to his parents, Will was preceded in death by his sisters, Sarah, Louise, Norene, and Marti; as well as his cousin, Eddie Blocker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Loretta Thornton Blocker, and their children, Phil Blocker (Julie), Robin Nanney (Jeff), Kelly Nygren (Don), and Bart Blocker (Lauren).
