Jackie R. Neilson, 65, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 23, 1958, to the late Henry Williams and Helen Neilson Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Lucy Ball, Betty Ingle, Nancy Holland, Mary Helen Neilson, and Cindy Lee Williams; brothers, Timmie D. Williams, Ricky Neilson, Billy Herman Neilson, and half-brother, Butch Williams.

Jackie was employed with Bestco as a warehouse material handler.

Jackie is survived by his loving wife, Clara Neilson; sons, Jack Neilson, and Thomas Wilcox (Ashton); stepson, Jason Myers; stepdaughters, Tammy Davis and Carla Phillips; brothers, David L. Neilson (Mary) and Robert Neilson; sisters, Darlene Neilson Moore and Debbie Neilson Hayes, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, May 29, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Vanderburg Blue Door Cemetery.
