The Statesville Fire Department Administration Office and Fire Marshal’s Office have officially relocated to 822 Fifth Street.

These offices, which are located directly under the new William T. “Woody” Woodard Memorial Fire Station 1, can only be accessed from the downstairs entrance.

Previously, these departments were housed at Statesville City Hall and the old Fire Station 1 at 316 S. Meeting Street.

The following Fire Administration Officials can now be found at the new Fire Administration Building: Fire Chief Glenn Kurfees, Deputy Fire Chief Kyle Bell, Assistant Fire Chief Danny Nicholson and Office Manager Vickie Pressley.

Fire Marshal’s Office personnel now located at this new facility include Fire Marshal Pete Morrison, Deputy Fire Marshal Maury Jenkins and Assistant Fire Marshal Taylor Menster.

SFD administration and fire marshal’s staff look forward to continuing to protect the safety and well-being of the Statesville community from the new location.
