Wilma Sipe Scoggins, 90, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. She was born on June 3, 1933, in Shelby, N.C., to the late William Paul Sipe and Mary Florence Sipe.

Wilma graduated from Charlotte Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1954, where she received her Nursing degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked for Dr. Richard Martin, Dr. A.B. Sloan, Dr. Creighton Wrenn, and at the Brian Center in Mooresville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Paul Sipe Jr. and Marion Andre Sipe; and sister, Mary Frances Mullins.

Those left to cherish Wilma’s memory are her husband of 64 years, Troy R. Scoggins Jr.; children, Allison S. Gray (Robby) and Troy R. Scoggins III (Nicole); grandchildren, Ashley Gray Bourke (Seth), William Charles Gray, Troy R. Scoggins IV (Hanna), and Cole Scoggins; great grandchildren, Maizie and Radley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No services will be held at this time.
