Jerry Allen Jolly, 84, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving wife and friends. He was born on October 2, 1939, in Kings Mountain, N.C., to the late Claude and Edith Huffstetler Jolly.

Jerry was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was cherished by his family and will be greatly missed. He was a man of strong faith, a friend of God and loved his church family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Saundra Jolly McGarrell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Pamela Satterfield Jolly; daughters, Amanda Bennett (Scott), and Julia Suggs (Jimmy); grandchildren, Hannah Bennett, Aaron Bennett (fiancée, Cheryl Anderson), James Suggs, and Robert Suggs.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at River Life Fellowship with Pastor Byron Wicker officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Salisbury National Cemetery with full military honors.
