Patty Jean Orbison, 77, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Summit Place of Mooresville.

She was born February 19, 1947, in Mooresville to the late Edward Eldridge Orbison and Beulah Mae Parker Orbison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Cecil Orbison, Catherine Love, Peggy Stuart, Derrell Orbison, Frances Karriker, Wayne Orbison, and Becky Waller. She was also preceded in death by her close and lifelong friend, Dot Phillips.

Patty was a lifetime member of Back Creek Presbyterian Church, Mt. Ulla.

She is survived by her son, Dana Phillips (Shari Phillips); siblings, Phillip Orbison, Phyllis Honeycutt, Ed “Junior” Orbison, Jr. (Frances); grand-daughter, Angela Johns, and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.

A Celebration of Patty’s Life will be on Thursday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at Back Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bill Thrailkill officiating.
