Sybil Frailly, 93, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at her home. A long-time resident of Statesville, Sybil was originally from Ellisville, Miss., where she obtained her nursing degree at Southern Mississippi Charity Hospital in Laurel. She finished her training in Ohio, where she met her future husband Bob, and they resided in Ohio for many years, raising their two children, Dawn and Doug (Dawna).

Sybil enjoyed a long career in geriatric and psychiatric nursing. Upon retirement, she continued to volunteer at Davis Hospital in Statesville, participate in Court Watchers, Meals on Wheels, and the neighborhood watch, and she had many exciting adventures with her friends. She especially enjoyed her trips to Europe as well as a few cruises.

She is survived by her two children, two grandchildren (Sasha and Luda), many nieces and nephews, her good friends, and her special friend David. She will be greatly missed.
