Patricia Ann Daly passed away July 31, 2024, at the age of 77 in Statesville, N.C., following a short illness. Ms. Daly was born in Metuchen, N.J., on March 10, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Warren and Christine Daly of Statesville, N.C.

She is survived by her three children. Christine Herlehy (Dallas, Texas), Kevin Herlehy (Roche, N.Y.), and Mary Kate Herlehy (Atlantic Beach, Fla.); her loving sister, Mary Lou Parr (Statesville, N.C.), niece and nephew, Mary Christine Parr (Mocksville, N.C.) and Tommy Parr and his wife Mary Katherine Parr (Salisbury, N.C.). Pat was blessed to be “Nonie” to six grandchildren and three grandnieces, Dylan Herlehy, Daniel Herlehy, Haley Ann Fazler, Kamrun Herlehy, Maddison Perkins and Vivian Herlehy, Mary Ellen Bradford, Morgan Lewis and Klara Lewis; cousins Ann O’Hara and Erin O’Hara Myers; and many other relatives and close friends.

Pat graduated from Brandon High School in Brandon Tampa and was a long-time resident of Statesville. She also lived in Raleigh, N.C., Oneida, N.Y., and Roanoke Va. She enjoyed a long career in the medical field as an administrator as well as an educator and instructor for in-hospital and in-home medical equipment for KCI, from where she retired in 2010. She was honored to serve as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Phillips Catholic Church, of which she was a member for over 50 years.

Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, notably, her friends in the Canasta Club to which she was a part of for over 20 years. Her love of North Carolina State leaves happy memories to all who experienced watching games with her! Pat was a fan of all sports, including the Miami Dolphins and New York Yankees, and she rarely missed a round of watching Tiger Woods.

Services will be held at Troutman Funeral Home Monday, Augus 5, 2024. The service will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a visitation at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research at www.v.org. She will be remembered for her kind heart and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
