TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND PARTICULARLY THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF STATESVILLE’S PLANNING JURISDICTION YOU WILL TAKE NOTICE: That the City Council of the City of Statesville will hold and conduct public hearings on the 19th day of August 2024, at 6:00 o’clock p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 227 South Center Street, Statesville, North Carolina, for the purpose of considering proposed ordinances to amend the zoning classification of the after-described properties as follows:
ZC24-01: Rezoning initiated by Mrs. Leigh Polzella (applicant) on behalf of BRD Land for the properties located in the Southeastern quadrant of the City between Shiloh Road and Nabors Road, Statesville. The request is to rezone the 601.96 acres from Iredell County RA (Residential Agricultural) District to the City of Statesville R-5MF CZ (High Density Multi-Family Residential) Conditional Zoning District.
The properties are further identified as Iredell County Tax Map #’s 4752-79-5287, 4752-79-7871, 4753-82-0498, 4753-91-4027, 4753-94-4366, 4753-94-5376, 4752-89-1178, 4753-91-4549, 4753-93-8263, 4762-08-8561, 4762-09-4545, 4753-93-2131, 4762-18-5449, 4762-19-6288, 4763-02-4450, 4753-90-4073, 4762-29-2863, and 4763-10-4444, and 4763-21-6528, 4753-80-4007, and 4763-21-6528.
ZC24-16: Willard Auton: Rezoning initiated by Willard Auton for property located behind 849 Reynolds Road. The request is to rezone the subject parcel totaling approximately 0.748 acres from Iredell County R-20 (Suburban Residential) District to City of Statesville B-5 (General Business) District. This property is further identified as Iredell County Tax Map # 4724-53-7566.
