The Stony Point Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 17th Annual Cruise-In on Saturday, October 12.

The rain-or-shine event, which is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m., will be held at Station 1, located at 501 Ruritan Park Road off Taylorsville Highway in Stony Point.

BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs will be available for purchase. There will also be a bake sale, cake walk and a 50/25/25 raffle.

In lieu of an entry fee, organizers ask participants to bring items for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Piedmont Triad’s wish list or items for SPVFD, including bottled water, small bottled Gatorade, individually wrapped snacks, etc.

Specialty awards to be given to cruisers voted on by Firefighters, Auxiliary and People’s Choice.
