Statesville Internal Medicine, formerly Nicholson Internal Medicine, is moving to 738 Bryant Street in the former office of Southern Oncology. Some long-time residents may remember this as the former location of Dr. Ruby Grimm’s office.
Dr. John C. Nicholson will continue as the leading physician at the practice and is looking forward to continuing to provide patients with the same great care. The new location will open October 1.
Nicholson is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in all areas of adult and adolescent care.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from Duke University. He completed his residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Recently, Nicholson achieved fellowship in the American College of Physicians. ACP Fellows are recognized for their dedication to patient care and education around internal medicine.
Nicholson believes in specialized care for each patient, listening to them and giving them time to share their concerns. He is also fluent in Spanish.
