Carol Anne Todd, 74, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Heritage Care Assisted Living in Conover, N.C.

She was born on March 16, 1950, in Bronx, N.Y., to the late Eileen Powers. Carol lived on Long Island, N.Y., for her entire life until she moved to North Carolina in July of 2023. She worked as a waitress for many years and went on to work as a secretary at Nassau Community College in Uniondale, N.Y. Carol retired many years ago and was diagnosed with Dementia shortly thereafter.

Prior to her illness, Carol loved to knit. She enjoyed making blankets, scarves and baby clothes for everyone she could. She also loved listening to music.

Her greatest love was family. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jennifer Anne Todd, Bartlett B. Todd III and Elizabeth Rea; and grandchildren, Tyler Figueroa, Ryan Todd, Dylan Figueroa, Sean Todd, Isabella Rea and Gabriella Rea.

A Celebration of Life gathering where the family will receive friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
