Jonathan Leon Davis, 74, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Gordon Hospice House following an extended illness. John was born April 25, 1950, in Garland County, Ark., to the late Leon Davis and Eva Davis. He was a business owner in the retail industry was a member of Jesus Revelation Church Ellendale.

Survivors include one son, Scott Davis of Statesville; one daughter, Rachel Davis of Conover; and one step-daughter, Iris Wooten of Troutman; one sister, Rachel Davis and her children Eric Haines and Tammi Summit of Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Timothy Dillow and wife Kristen, Sarah Dillow, Joel Dillow and wife Julyanne, Simon Dillow, Mackenzie Davis, Kirsten Davis, and Chasity Davis, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Faith Revival Church (58 Faith Revival Lane, Hiddenite). The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church. Pastor Mike Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
