Special to IFN

The Longest Table is being set in Mooresville and Statesville to celebrate “The Power of We.”

These community meals will allow hundreds of community members to gather together and meet new people. Members of the public are encouraged to attend to enjoy some delicious food and great conversation with their neighbors.

These events are free to attend, but tickets are required.

The Longest Table will occur in Mooresville on Sunday, October 6, at 1 p.m. Seating will begin at 12:30 p.m. The table will stretch the length of Blue Devil Boulevard at Mooresville High School, located at 659 E. Center Avenue. Tickets are available on Humanitix at https://events.humanitix.com/the-longest-table-mooresville

The Longest Table will occur in Statesville on Tuesday, October 8, at 5:30 pm. Seating will begin at 5 p.m. The table will be set at the corner of N. Mulberry Street and W. Broad Street. Tickets are available on Humanitix at https://events.humanitix.com/the-longest-table-statesville
