Billie Patterson Johnson, 83, of Mooresville, N.C., and formerly of Huntersville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.

She was born on February 10, 1941, in Mt. Holly, N.C., to the late Gaither and Nancy Thomas Patterson. Mrs. Johnson was retired from Amity Finance as the vice president. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville. Mrs. Johnson was a charter member of the Mooresville/Lake Norman Exchange Club.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ronald Johnson; children, David C. Johnson (Yevette), Karen Johnson Wheeler (Dean), and Kathe Johnson French; grandchildren, Lisa Duncan (Jonathan), Timothy Johnson, Heather Tate (Kasey), Maria Wheeler (Tiffany), and Melissa Wheeler; great grandchildren, Cameron Duncan, Jamie Tate, Ella Tate, Harper Tate, Dallas Tate, and Brittany Smith; and numerous extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 7, in the chapel at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
