The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office has added two Belgian Malinois to the Canine Unit.

Deputy Moncus has a new partner, Canine Kash, and Deputy Ashley will be working alongside Canine Bula. These highly trained canines will enhance the ICSO’s ability to serve and protect the citizens of Iredell County.

Both Bula and Kash are trained to handle a wide variety of tasks, from searching for suspects to protecting ICSO deputies in the field.

Canine Kash will join Deputy Moncus on the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team, focusing on detecting and intercepting criminal activity. This duo will play a critical role in keeping our community safe, especially in high-risk scenarios where their specialized skills are most needed.

Canine Bula will partner with Deputy Ashley on patrol, assisting in tracking, suspect apprehension, and other essential law enforcement operations.
