Special to IFN

Brothers Andy Setzer and Rick Rhyne have headed up a program through Mt. Moriah Lodge #690 to collect and distribute stuffed animals to local law enforcement agencies.

The stuffed animals are carried by officers in their vehicles and given to children who may be experiencing a traumatic experience.

The mission is to bring some small comfort to these kids at a time when their life may be unsettled.

Pictured receiving the stuffed animals (from left) are Seth Stevenson and Marla Powell from the N.C. State Highway Patrol, Andy Setzer from Mt. Moriah Lodge, Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell, and Kathleen Pope and Kezlan Johnson from the Statesville Police Department.
