Kimberly Ann Baynard Farris, 56, of Statesville, N.C., died Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at the Gordon Hospice House.

She was born in Mecklenburg County on May 24, 1963, to Earl Leon Baynard Jr. and Barbara Capps Baynard.

Kimberly had worked in accounting in the furniture business. She loved shopping, dancing, going to concerts and spending time at the beach. She loved her kitties and was a kind and loving person. More than anything, she loved her girls and was a great mom.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents; her two daughters, Amberly Farris of Statesville and Ashley Farris of Woodstock, Ga., a sister, Sherri Rutherford of Mooresville; two nephews, Christian Rutherford and Tanner Rutherford; and a niece Tarryn Rutherford.

Private Services will be held at a later date.
