The South Iredell Volunteer Fire Department held its annual Fall Fire Festival Open House and Fire Prevention Day on Saturday. The event included live fire demonstrations, fire extinguisher training, and fire safety education. Over 1,000 residents attended the event. As a volunteer department, SIVFD is looking for men and women interested in helping to serve and protect their neighbors and their community.
