Downtown Statesville will be filled with live music, arts and crafts, great food, shopping, children’s activities, and more on Saturday, November 2, during the 21st Annual Flow Automotive Statesville Pumpkin Fest.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stay after the festival for the DENSO After Party featuring Uptown Dueling Pianos from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Admission to the festival is free, although some of the activities may charge a fee. The event will take place rain or shine.

Event organizers have lined up a variety of music and entertainment, including Wicker & Jones, The Mystery Hillbillies, Wood Family Tradition, and Holt Up & Friends and finishing up with the After Party on South Center Street at the Main Stage, sponsored by DENSO and hosted by WAME Radio.

Numerous other performances are scheduled throughout the day, including demonstrations of dance, gymnastics, and martial arts on the Community Stage on North Meeting Street, sponsored by Republic Services.

Kids will be entertained all day long in the Kids’ Zone, sponsored by Happy Teeth Pediatric Dentistry, located at the Broad Street United Methodist Church Lawn. This area will feature an assortment of inflatables. There will also be a full-size LED movie screen showing “How to Train Your Dragon 2” all day. All rides are expertly staffed for your peace of mind. It’s the ultimate free ticket to a day full of laughter and memories.

A new addition to the festival this year will be a STEM Fun area, sponsored by Bobcat. Located in the Griffin Insurance parking lot at 139 East Broad Street), this area will feature some fun equipment to demonstrate and enjoy. Located nearby will be the popular pumpkin smashing and painting station, hosted by American Renaissance School. Also in the same area, the Statesville Police Department will be on hand collecting toys for their yearly Toy Drive, so be sure to bring your donations or purchase something at the festival to donate.

Court Street will host the Classic Car Cruise-In. All cars must enter from the intersection of West Front Street and South Meeting Street. Beginning at 9 a.m., cars will start moving onto Court Street and Meeting Street. Contact Chuck Goode (704-929-8150) for more information.

PARKING
