St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Mooresville will host a benefit concert for Dahlia Grove featuring Ken Medema on Saturday, November 16.
Medema is an American singer/songwriter who has been performing in the U.S., Canada and Europe for more than 40 years. With more than a dozen albums to his credit, he is an innovative performer who connects with his audiences and makes every event a unique experience. His lyrics generally provide social commentary on themes such as justice, hunger, poverty and homelessness, and Christian charity as it pertains to them.
A portion of the proceeds from the concert will benefit Dahlia Grove, a nonprofit social enterprise that works to empower and employ women survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence and sexual exploitation.
The concert, held at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 164 Fairview Road, Mooresville, begins at 7 pm. It is free and open to the public. Love offerings are greatly appreciated.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. There is ample parking and the Benevolent Bistro food truck by FLOCK will be on site beginning from 5 to 7 p.m. Food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Dahlia Grove.
St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church is located at 164 Fairview Road in Mooresville.
