City of Statesville offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, for Thanksgiving.

Please note the following changes to facility hours and garbage collection schedules:

Rec Centers

The Statesville Fitness & Activity Center will close early at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27. Both the Fitness & Activity Center and the Bentley Community Center will reopen with regular hours on Saturday, November 30.

Garbage Collection

♦ Residential Routes: Monday’s routes: Collected on the regular schedule; Tuesday and Wednesday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday; and Thursday and Friday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday.

♦ Commercial Routes: For businesses with roll-out carts or garbage containers, Monday and Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Monday; Wednesday and Thursday’s routes will collected on Tuesday; Friday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday; and Saturday’s routes will be collected on the regular schedule.
