Personnel from Cool Springs, Statesville and Ebenezer fire departments responded to a report of a structure fire on Brookview Road about 7:59 p.m. on Wednesday. 

Firefighters encountered heavy smoke upon their arrival, and a working fire was declared. Crews had the fire under control by 8:13 p.m.

No injuries were reported, but five people were displaced by the fire and were relocating to other family members’ residences.
