The United Way of Iredell County on Friday announced the recipients of the 2024 Endowment for the Future Grants.
“We are grateful for the many thoughtful and compassionate proposals we received this cycle. Our mission with these endowed funds is to award substantial grants that drive meaningful, lasting improvements within Iredell County’s social service network,” Endowment Committee Chair Nelson Granade said.
“This commitment made the proposal review process challenging for our dedicated volunteers. However, we are excited to announce our support for the following partners as they expand their impact and effectiveness.”
The 2024 Endowment for the Future grant recipients are:
♦ Iredell County Council on Aging ($25,000): The Age Well, Mind Well Project aims to enhance mental health support for older adults (65-plus) in Iredell County by utilizing senior centers as crucial community resources.
