Michael Eugene Gilliland, 63, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 22, 2024. He was born January 24, 1961, in High Point, N.C.

Mike was a simple man who loved his land and took great pride in taking care of the land and his home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Madison Gilliland.

Mike is survived by his mother, Jane Gilliland; his brother, Donnie Gilliland; and his sister, Melinda James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews whom he loved.

There will be a gathering to celebrate his life at 135 Oak Creek Road, Statesville, NC 28625 on Saturday, December 28, at 3 p.m.
