Robert Lee Morrison Jr., 81, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020, at his residence.

He was born on February 27, 1939, in Mooresville to the late Robert Lee Morrison and Adele Calloway Morrison. Mr. Morrison was retired from CCM Trucking. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mooresville, a member and past governor of the Mooresville Moose Lodge #2012 and also a member of Mooresville Masonic Lodge #496 AF & AM.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Morrison.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Christie Morrison; son, Robert “Rob” Morrison III and wife Melynne; grandchildren, Derrick (Jayme) and Dana Morrison; great grandchildren, Katelynn, Karlee, Jake, and one on the way; and his beloved border collie, Patty.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, from 3 to 4 p.m. with a service following at 4 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Keck officiating. Burial will follow the service at Willow Valley Cemetery in Mooresville.
