Tamara Jean Hollifield, 63, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025. Born on September 30, 1961, in Lexington, N.C., Tamara graced this world with a spirit that was both gentle and resilient.

A dedicated clerical worker in the medical field, Tamara served the community of Statesville with unwavering commitment and compassion. Her work provided support to countless individuals and families, reflecting her deep care for others.

Tamara cherished the beauty of the outdoors, finding solace and joy under God’s canopy of Heaven. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose love and kindness radiated warmth to everyone around her. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she took immense pride in nurturing those she held dear.

A faithful member of Westminster Church of God in Statesville, Tamara’s life was a testament to her strong faith and dedication to her church community. Her spirit of generosity and kindness will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Tamara was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Betty Jean Ginn.

She was survived by her loving husband, Larry Hollifield; father, Dale Ginn; son, Travis Crotts (Lorri); daughters, Alexis Phillips (Elliott) and Crystal Crotts; and her cherished grandson, Carter Crotts.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Westminster Church of God with Pastor Aaron Hollifield and Pastor Ronnie Bowels officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Tamara will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Lexington, N.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Church of God, 2920 Westminster Drive, Statesville, NC 28677, as a tribute to her enduring faith and commitment to her church.
