Carley Ann Lewis, 25, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on January 5, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital surrounded by loved ones following an extended illness. Carley was born in Richmond, Va., on January 9, 1999, to Jennifer Lewis of the home.

She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Carley loved her church family and was heavily involved within the church community. She loved being a bus minister for the younger children.

Survivors include one sister, Geniya Rice of Hickory; lifelong friend, Brittany Miller; maternal grandparents, Rodney Lewis (Connie Wilson) and Carol Lee; one special aunt, Heather Lewis; and one special uncle, Theodore Parmenter; as well as several aunts and uncles and close friends whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 13, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church. Pastor Donald Gant will officiate. Burial will follow at Stony Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.
