Julian Scott Campbell, lovingly known as Scotty, 57, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 surrounded by his family at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

He was born in Statesville on July 30, 1967, to Elna Jolly Campbell and the late Julian D. Campbell.

He was a graduate of North Iredell High School, Class of 1985. He worked for Asmo for many years, and later his family business Statesville Mausoleum Works.

Those left to cherish Scotty’s memory are his mother, Elna Campbell; daughters Kristin Cole (Jared) and Madee Campbell; granddaughters Karlee, Adalyn and Kamryn Cole; brother Kevin Campbell (Teresa); niece Amanda Johnson (Matthew and family); and nephew Travis Campbell (Jessica and family); along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A loving son, father, pawpaw, brother, uncle and friend, Scotty has left a lasting impression on those who knew him and will be forever missed.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Eanes and Rev. Paul Hill officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
