Amy Boston Shook, 44, of Hiddenite, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2025. She was born December 7, 1980, in Catawba County to the late Freddie Junior Pike and Tonya Lee Henneforth.
Amy worked at Stony Point Elementary as a Cafeteria Manager and was of the Baptist faith. Amy enjoyed crafting, taking pictures, going to the beach, and watching the races. She loved animals and children, but most of all, she loved being a Mom and Nene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Nanny, Dolly Tate.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Anthony Lynn Shook of the home; one son, Corbin Anthony Shook of the home; two daughters, Tiffany Jones and husband Tyler of Taylorsville and Addie Shook of the home; one brother, Charles Boston of Taylorsville; two grandchildren, Gracelynn and Jacob Jones of Taylorsville; her stepmother, Linda Pike of Claremont; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 4 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. Pastor Taylor Miller will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. The family would like to give a special thank you to The Hodge family, Stony Point Elementary, Alexander County Health Department and Carolina Oncology.
