Amy Lynn Adkins, 56, of Troutman, N.C., passed away January 26, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.

Amy was born March 8, 1968, in Statesville, N.C. and was the daughter of Donna Klinck Adkins of Statesville and the late Barry Steele Adkins. Amy was a graduate of Southview Christian School and received her nursing degree from Mitchell Community College. She was a teacher at Kiddie Kollege Learning Center in Statesville.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Ashley Mills of Kannapolis and Hannah Warren (Craig Young) of Statesville; son, Matthew Warren of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Landen Wayne Allen, James Michael Young, and Ryker Steele Young; life partner, Rick Panico of Troutman; brother, Richard Steele Adkins (Leann); niece, Rachel Frye; and nephews, Andrew Adkins and Aidan Adkins.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 3, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Steve Kramm. The family will visit with friends following the service.
