A Mooresville man faces multiple felony drug charges following an investigation by the Mooresville Police Department Narcotics Unit.
The MPD announced the arrest of Markeith Kane Phifer, 30, in a news release.
Investigators executed a search warrant at 508 McLelland Avenue in Mooresville on Wednesday, January 29, police said,
During the search, officers seized a total of 30.8 grams of powder fentanyl, including 144 pressed fentanyl pills disguised as Oxycodone pills, according to the news release. Forty grams of marijuana were also seized, along with $1,664 in cash, police said.
Phifer was arrested and charged with trafficking schedule I controlled substances, felony possession of schedule I controlled substances, possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule I controlled substances, possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule VI controlled substances, felony possession of marijuana, and maintaining a dwelling to keep or sell controlled substances.
Phifer was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center, where a magistrate ordered him held without bond.
