The Class of 2026 of the National Charity League (NCL) Lake Norman has made a significant impact in their community by donating $16,997.62 to Bridge of Hearts, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing birthdays to children in need.
The junior class raised the impressive sum through their annual Fashion Show Fundraiser, which was held in November. This event showcased the philanthropic spirit and dedication of the women in NCL, who worked tirelessly to organize, model, and promote the show. Clothing for this fashion show was provided by Sweet Pea Boutique, Lily Pulitzer, and the Perfect Dress. With the support of local businesses, community members, and generous sponsors, the fundraiser proved to be a success.
The Class of 2026 is comprised of Nicole Anderson, Kylie Bailey, Elle Bisho, Kate Bowling, Sadie Brown, Morgan Cavan, Scarlett Chan, Alaina Creager, Carli Dixon, Killy Griffin, Lily Haigler, Kendall Hammett, Isabella Isemann, Elyse Jamison, Kendall Laguerre, Addison Major, Ashlyn Mattingly, Aubri McDonald, Gracyn McRorie, Elizabeth Montgomery, Riley Moran, Phoenix Myers, Maggie Resener, Lucia Reynal, Paityn Rollag, Isabella Self, and Scarlett Shuping.
In March, NCL Lake Norman will also be providing $1,699 to FeedNC, Rescue Ranch, LKN Special Olympics, The Christian Mission and The Kindness Closet. The funds from NCL Lake Norman will help expand the outreach efforts of these organizations that serve our community. The success of the Fashion Show Fundraiser highlights the positive impact that young leaders can have when they come together for a meaningful cause.

“The generosity of these young women is inspiring,” said Linda Morris for Bridge of Hearts. “Their contribution will go a long way in making a difference in the lives of children in our community.”
The National Charity League is a mother-daughter organization dedicated to fostering leadership, community service, and cultural experiences.
