Floyd McCann, 69, of Union Grove, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Floyd was born in Iredell County on October 28, 1955, to the late Benny Lee McCann and Nellie Nancy Bell of Statesville.

In addition to his mother, survivors include one son, Michael Floyd McCann (Samantha Julian) of Statesville; one daughter, Alisha Perrow, and husband Joe of Statesville; one brother, Kenneth McCann, and wife Dana of Union Grove; two sisters, Karen Addis and husband Doug of Olin and Kathleen McCann of Statesville; and six grandchildren, Emma, Clara, Jase, Lily, Hunter, and Abbi, as well as extended family.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, February 28, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Grassy Knob Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Johnny will officiate. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chapman Funeral Home for the services for Floyd McCann.
