Ruby Leona Manning Hines, 87, of Mooresville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday April 2, 2020. Ruth is the daughter of the late Roland Edward Manning and Mary Susan Jarmon Manning. She was also preceded by her dear husband of 47 years, Louie D. Hines.

Ruth was a member of Bethel Freewill Baptist Church as well as a Sunday school teacher and a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Maria Perry of Greenville, N.C., and Betty Riddle of Mooresville, N.C.

There are no services planned at this time.

Reavis Funeral Home of Statesville will be serving the family.
