Iris Falkstedt Meetze, 81, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on May 26, 1943 in Finland to the late Axel and Svea Paulina Falkstedt. Iris worked as a Registered Nurse at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. She was a former member of Mooresville Presbyterian Church. Iris enjoyed painting landscapes.

She is survived by her husband, G.C. Meetze III; daughters, Sabina Meetze and Lea McCrae; and grandchildren, Daniel, Gracie, and Christina McCrae.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
