Jeremiah Campbell has been promoted to operations manager for Iredell County Emergency Communications.

Campbell has more than 20 years of dedicated service and extensive field experience to the role.

In his new position, Campbell will oversee the daily operations of the 911 center, support critical response initiatives, and advance the department’s mission of delivering professional and responsive emergency communications to the residents of Iredell County.

Campbell began his career with Iredell County as a telecommunicator II and steadily advanced through the ranks due to his strong leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to public safety. Since 2018, he has supervised communications for fire, law enforcement and emergency medical services (EMS) — the latter two being primary call volumes managed by the County’s 911 center — while continuing to work the console.

“Jeremiah’s hands-on experience and deep understanding of both EMS and law enforcement operations have made him an invaluable part of our team,” said a department spokesperson. “His promotion to operations manager is a natural next step, and we are confident in his continued ability to lead with integrity and excellence.”

Campbell was honored for 20 years of service with Iredell County on March 17. His tenure has been marked by a strong commitment to mentoring new telecommunicators, improving communication protocols, and enhancing interagency coordination throughout the county.
