When a family member or loved one is diagnosed with a serious mental illness, it can be a life-changing experience.
NAMI Lake Norman/Iredell offers a free, 12-week class to help family members and caregivers understand and provide support to individuals dealing with major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, borderline personality disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder or dual diagnosis.
This course is being taught by a team of trained NAMI volunteers. Classes will be held weekly beginning on January 11, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Fifth Street Ministries in Statesville.
Space is limited to the first 25 registered participants.
