In an effort to better serve the community, a needs assessment survey for Mooresville Public Library’s patrons was distributed last spring. The results of the survey showed MPL users desired more weekend hours at the South Main Street facility.

In response to those results, starting in January, the Mooresville Public Library will begin a new schedule.

The library will be open Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The library will remain closed on Sundays.
