There are now 369 laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Iredell County.
Iredell health officials reported 21 new cases on Tuesday after confirming 21 cases on Monday.
Among the 369 cases:
♦ 156 people are currently isolating at home;
♦ 4 people are currently hospitalized;
♦ 203 people are presumed recovered; and
♦ 6 people have died
The increase in laboratory confirmed cases comes on the heels of four community testing events in which more than 800 people have been tested, according to the Iredell County Health Department.
Another testing event is scheduled from 8:15 a.m. to noon on Thursday, June 11, at Hebron Baptist Church, 175 Hebron Road, Statesville.
There are now 143 cases in the central part of the county. There are 141 in the southern end and 85 in the northern region of the county.

More than 1,000 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in N.C.
According to the N.C. Department of Health of Human Services, there have 37,160 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. Some 774 people are currently hospitalized in North Carolina, and 1,029 deaths have been attributed to the coronavirus.
