Iredell-Statesville Schools and the Iredell County Health Department notified parents of positive COVID-19 tests impacting more than a dozen schools during the week of November 16-20.
Here is a summary of the notifications:
November 16
● Coddle Creek Elementary: No close contacts
● Third Creek Elementary: Close contacts have been notified
● Lakeshore Middle School: No close contacts
● Harmony Elementary School: Close contacts have been notified
● Cloverleaf Elementary: Close contacts have been notified
● Sharon Elementary: No close contacts
November 17
● Lake Norman Elementary: Close contacts have been notified
● Troutman Middle: No close contacts
● Scotts Elementary: Close contacts have been notified
November 18
● Lakeshore Middle School: No close contacts
● Scotts Elementary: Close contacts have been notified
● East Iredell Middle School: No close contacts
● North Iredell High School: Close contacts have been notified
● West Iredell Middle School: No close contacts
● CCTL Early College: No close contacts
● Statesville High School: Close contacts have been notified
● Sharon Elementary School: Close contacts have been notified
November 19
● NB Mills Elementary School: Close contacts have been notified
November 20
● Northview School: Close contacts have been notified
Since August 10, 414 I-SS employees have been quarantined. That is 16 percent of the district’s faculty/staff.
Some 93 employees, representing 4 percent of the faculty/staff have tested positive during the 2020-2021 school year.
