Iredell-Statesville Schools officials reported positive COVID-19 test results for the week of August 31-September 4 involving individuals at seven different schools:
August 31
● Lake Norman Elementary: No close contacts.
● North Iredell Middle: No close contacts.
● Celeste Henkel Elementary: No close contacts.
September 1
● Third Creek Elementary School: No close contacts.
September 2
● Statesville High School: No close contacts.
September 3
● North Iredell High School: Close contacts were notified and instructed to quarantine until September 11.
● Harmony Elementary: Close contacts were notified and instructed to quarantine until September 14.
September 4
● Third Creek Elementary School: Close contacts were notified and instructed to quarantine until September 11.
“We know we, like schools across the world, may experience positive cases of COVID-19 connected with our community,” the district said in a news release. “We are committed to doing everything we can to minimize any potential exposure to COVID-19. We are aggressively addressing cleaning and disinfection. We are working closely with families and staff to ensure we are promoting all recommended prevention strategies.”
