Iredell-Statesville Schools has planned three virtual open houses to provide information to students and their parents about the district’s early college programs.

All three programs are joint ventures with Mitchell Community College. The early college program provides motivated Iredell County students the opportunity to graduate from a five-year program with a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit with no cost to the student for tuition or books. Students typically enroll in the early college in the ninth grade through an admission process.

Here are the times and dates of the virtual open houses:

♦ Crossroads: Thursday, December 3, from 6 to 7 p.m.

♦ CCTL: Tuesday, December 8, from 6 to 7 p.m.

♦ ASEC: Thursday, December 10, from 6 to 7 p.m.

The district will post the Zoom link information on the school websites closer to time for the open house meetings.
